For years now, my live shows have been composed mainly of my own songs. The occasional cover tune has crept in, but it has been a fairly rare occurrence since at least 2005. So, when a friend remarked that he'd like to hear me do a version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, it struck me that it might be a good time to tackle material written by other artists.

I've played some of these songs for years; others were learned specifically for this project. I had a great time working with them, and each one has influenced me in one way or another.
