I'll start with a link to a page where you can see a couple of my guitars that aren't pictured anywhere else on this site.  One was built by Paul Woolson; the other by John Reuter.

Now then, here are links to some people and/or organizations I value.

Guy Davis is an accomplished and respected bluesman, writer, and actor.  I'm lucky enough to be considered as part of his family.  If you consider yourself to be a fan of blues, acoustic music, or some great storytelling, I strongly suggest you  acquaint yourself with what he does.

Dan Navarro is the only person I know from my hometown of Calexico, CA who has succeeded in the music industry. He was/is half of Lowen & Navarro. Sadly, Eric Lowen is dealing with ALS and is no longer able to perform. Dan grew up going to school with my family, though I didn't know who he was until I opened for him at a house concert outside Chicago, IL. He has since grown into a friend and I consider him to be an individual of high quality.

Nerak Roth Patterson is a friend who happens to be one of the few electric players out there who can solo for as long as he wants and still hold my interest.  Keep your eyes on this man.

Jiyushinkai is an organization of which I am extremely proud to be a part.  I suspect that if I had not found it, I would have lost the bit of sanity that I've managed to preserve.

Chris Smither is one of my favorite artists.  Great singer/songwriter who is also an amazing guitarist.  I highly recommend his albums Leave the Light On, Train Home and Live As I'll Ever Be.  I feel they provide the best representation of his work.

Todd Snider rounds out my list of favorite acoustic people.  He's really a fantastic songwriter with interesting ideas about a variety of subjects.

B&D Guitar Repair is Billy O'Reilly's shop in Phoenix, AZ and he is one of my favorite people.  He's honest and great at what he does.  What more do you want?  His web site is here and his myspace is here.  Don't let the basic internet presence fool you; he's too busy fixing guitars to have a fancy web site.

Kat Haapapuro creates some really great handmade guitar straps, along with camera straps, scarves, and jewelry.  I have four of her straps and I won't use any other kind.  Check out her web site, http://katstraps.com.
